  18. Yes to both questions.  I have a DEClaser 5100 that works flawlessly from
  19. the Amiga side (PCL or PS), but I could never get it to work right using
  20. the Mac software.  Problems were those you describe, plus that it would
  21. occasionally say that it failed to communicate with the printer.

  23. I bit the bullet, and purchased PowerPrint from the Mac Warehouse (US$100),
  24. after a suggestion from another frustrated Emplant user.  This package works
  25. like a charm, using the Amiga parallel port.  I'm now printing with no prob-
  26. lems, from either environment, hassle free.  Only drawback was the $$$ :(

  28. As the PP driver wirks just fine, it looks as if the problem is not Emplant,
  29. but something in the way the Mac side handles printing.  Comments on this???
